The beauty of yoga is that it responds to the needs and interests of the individual. It can be pursued for better health or with more passion as a way of life.
1. It can make us sensitive to our bodies and also allow us to get to understand our strengths and weaknesses.
2. We begin to notice how our physical freedom has been confined by our own unconscious movements/habits of holding on to tension.
3. Internal organs are highly massaged and stimulated, the body’s metabolism is increased and digestion is improved. Even glandular activity can be affected by yoga.
4. Weight loss is all about your personal habits, physical state and chronic stress.Yoga helps alternate all of the above and therefore enhances any weight loss effort.
The sequences taught at the studio are very well thought – structured and flows from one posture to another posture.
We are inspired by Bihar School of Yoga, Iyengar yoga and MS Ashtanga Vynyasa.
In general, yoga is extremely useful for coping with illness and stress which affect all of us at different stages of our lives, and is now being touted as a major contributor to the development of many life-threatening diseases.
